Tata Air India Airlines Flight AI171 Tragedy: Ahmedabad to London Crash Leaves India in Shock

Air India Flight AI171 Crashes Near Ahmedabad, Over 200 Dead | 1 Alive

Ahmedabad, June 12, 2025: Shock and grief enveloped India on Thursday after an Air India Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner bound for London came down near Ahmedabad Airport moments after takeoff. Flight AI171, carrying 230 passengers and 12 crew, plummeted into a dormitory building at the B.J. Medical College, triggering fires and chaos. Officials confirmed that over 200 people on board were killed, making it the worst aviation disaster in India in recent memory.

Crash Timeline and Details

Flight AI171 departed from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport at 1:39 PM local time (0845 GMT) on June 12, bound for London’s Gatwick Airport. Just minutes after takeoff, the pilots declared an emergency and radioed a Mayday distress call. The aircraft then suddenly vanished from radar as it burst into flames. Eyewitnesses watched in horror as the jet crashed into the campus of B.J. Medical College adjacent to the airport. Debris and parts of the fuselage littered the area, and the impact ignited fires in the building and across the campus.

Rescue and Response

Emergency crews and disaster response teams rushed to the crash site amid plumes of thick black smoke. Firefighters battled the inferno and police evacuated nearby buildings to clear the wreckage. The building hit by the plane was used as a student dormitory and cafeteria, and dozens of medical students inside at lunchtime managed to escape. Some students jumped from upper-story windows to safety, suffering injuries. Local hospitals declared a state of emergency and dispatched ambulances for the injured; dozens of doctors and nurses worked through the afternoon to treat burn and trauma patients.

By evening, authorities reported recovering over 200 bodies from the debris, including victims who were in the college building. DNA samples from relatives are being collected to identify the dead. Most of the damaged area had been cleared by search teams, but so far no survivors have been found among the passengers or crew of Flight AI171. The runway at Ahmedabad Airport was briefly closed after the crash but was reopened later with limited operations as investigators worked to secure evidence.

Official Reactions and Support

The crash prompted an outpouring of support from India and abroad. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said he was "stunned and heartbroken" and ordered all possible help for the rescue teams. British Prime Minister Keir Starmer called the images of the crash "devastating" and pledged support for any U.K. citizens affected. King Charles expressed profound shock and sent condolences to the families.

Air India’s executives and local authorities also conveyed sorrow. The airline’s chairman said he was deeply saddened and would extend full support to the victims’ families. The airport’s operator, run by a major conglomerate, likewise expressed "deepest sorrow" and promised assistance to the bereaved. Officials noted that the passenger manifest included citizens of India, Britain, Portugal and Canada; embassies have mobilized to aid in identifying the victims.

Passengers, Families and Survivors

Relatives of the passengers waited anxiously at hospitals and information centers as news of the crash spread. Twenty-five-year-old Poonam Patel was distraught, saying her sister-in-law was on the flight. “She texted me earlier this morning saying she was excited to visit family in London,” Patel said. “Within an hour we heard the plane had crashed. We are praying for a miracle, but we fear the worst.”

On the college campus, survivors described a day of terror. Ramila, the mother of a medical student, said her son had been eating lunch nearby. “He jumped from the second floor as the plane hit,” she said. “He is hurt but alive, which I thank the gods for.” Dozens of injured students were treated for burns and fractures; some remain in critical condition in local hospitals.

Volunteers and neighbors joined relief efforts, offering blankets, food and blood donations to the hospitals. Emergency hotlines have been set up to help families find missing loved ones. The community’s shock was palpable as people lit candles outside city hospitals and searched for word on their friends and relatives well into the night.

Aircraft and Route Background

Flight AI171 was operated by a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, one of the most modern and fuel-efficient wide-body jets. Introduced in 2011, the Dreamliner series was known for its advanced composite construction and safety systems. The crashed aircraft had entered service in 2013 and had flown for Air India since 2014 without major incident. Until today, the 787 had an exceptional safety record, and this is the first fatal accident involving a Dreamliner. Investigators will later examine maintenance records and flight data to determine what went wrong.

The Ahmedabad–London (Gatwick) route is a relatively new non-stop service connecting India’s western state of Gujarat with the UK. The flight covers some 6,800 kilometers and normally takes around 10 hours. It has become popular among business travelers and families in the large Indian diaspora in Britain. Air India is India’s national carrier, now part of a larger aviation group under the Tata conglomerate, and regularly operates global routes with aircraft like the Dreamliner, which until now had no reported safety issues.

Ongoing Investigation

India’s aviation regulator (DGCA) has launched a full inquiry into the crash. Accident investigators have recovered the aircraft’s flight data recorders (the “black boxes”) and begun analyzing their information. Boeing engineers and other international experts are expected to assist, given the jet’s American manufacture and the multinational passenger list.

The weather at the time of takeoff was clear, and there were no immediate indications of foul play. Officials caution that it is too early to speculate on the cause of the disaster. In the coming days, authorities will review cockpit voice recordings, air traffic control communications and maintenance logs to piece together the final moments of Flight AI171.

As the nation mourns, forensic and safety teams are working around the clock to find answers. Families of the lost, left in unimaginable grief, await answers as the search for truth begins.

Global warming increases more than expected, Red alert for mankind...

 #NEWS24

Global Warming Rises More Than Expected Red Alert for Mankind!

  • Earth has reached a critical stage in climate change as global warming is happening much faster than expected. Thus, natural disasters such as glaciers, wildfires, and floods are a frequent warning to humankind. Humans are responsible for climate change in the 21st century, '' the UN Climate Science Report warned.

  • Unusual flooding in various countries over the last few months. Fear of wildfires is raging. The United States has been hit by the worst flooding in China in recent memory. Severe wildfires spread in Turkey.

  • During the same period, Congress donations fell by 17 per cent to Rs 7,318 crore. In 2018-19, Congress received Rs 7,383 crore.

    Sea level 30 cm. Rise.

  • The report also said that sea levels have risen by 15 to 30 cm in the last 50 years alone due to the occasional melting of glaciers in areas including the Antarctic. (6 to 12 inches). Global warming is due to the release of more carbon and methane gases due to these global climate changes. Only one tenth or 2 percent by other planets, including the Sun! The earth is warming. As has been said.

  • Researchers have blamed global warming and rising sea levels for flooding and wildfires.

  • At the 2015 Climate Change Summit in Paris, it pledged to reduce global warming by 1.5 degrees Celsius (2.7 degrees Fahrenheit) to reduce carbon emissions.

  • However, in the first half of the last century, the Earth is experiencing a much faster warming than expected, as the Earth is currently in a state of flux. The temperature reached 5 degrees Celsius (2 degrees Fahrenheit)

  • Thus, by the year 2030. If factories do not curb carbon-dioxide emissions as the Earth heats up to 1.5 degrees Celsius each time period than previously predicted, the Paris climate agreement will not be strictly adhered to. Earth is likely to reach even warmer temperatures of 2 degrees Celsius. This is a severe drought,

  • Frequent heavy rains, floods, storms, hurricanes, wildfires, melting glaciers and hot winds can lead to various natural disasters. Recent climate change makes this clear. These changes are more likely to occur as global warming increases. For example. Heating every 50 years currently occurs once every 10 years.

  • If global warming continues to rise by one degree Celsius, hot winds could worsen 2 times in 7 years, leading to wildfires in the United States, Australia, Greece and Turkey.

  • The only permanent solution is to reduce the carbon footprint of the red man who has run out of red light.

  • The future depends on the rapid reduction of carbon dioxide emissions, the reduction of severe emissions, moderate carbon emissions, the continuation of current programs to reduce pollution, and the continued increase in carbon emissions.

Physics With Colors And Its Historical Relations!!!....

 #NEWS32

                PHYSICS WITH COLORS:

What is color in physics?

  • Color, also spelled color, the aspect of any object that may be described in terms of tinge, lightness, and achromatism. In drugs, colour is associated specifically with electromagnetic radiation of a certain range of wavelengths visible to the mortal eye.

Discussion About Colours In Physics?

  • Color is a function of the mortal visual system, and isn't an natural property. Objects do not have a color, they give off light that appears to be a color. Spectral power distributions live in the physical world, but color exists only in the mind of the beholder. Our perception of color isn't an objective measure of anything about the light that enters our eyes, but it correlates enough well with objective reality.

  • Color is determined first by frequence and also by how those frequentness are combined or mixed when they reach they eye. This is the drugs part of the content. Light cascade on technical receptor cells ( called cones) at the reverse of the eye ( called the retina) and a signal is transferred to the brain along a neural pathway ( called the optical whim-whams). This signal is reused by the part of the brain near the reverse of the cranium ( called the occipital lobe). Then is where the biology kicks in, or perhaps it's the psychology, or perhaps it's both. They eye is veritably much like a camera, but the brain isn't at each like a videotape archivist. The brain isn't like a computer with fixed tackle of transistors and capacitors executing some kind of software law. The neurons of the brain are presumably stylish study of as wetware — a emulsion of tackle and software or perhaps commodity fully different. I do not feel good to say important about that end of this process. Once the visual information leaves the eye, introductory drugs ends and neurocognition takes over.

Colors Related In Physics:

  • There's no physical significance in color names. It's all a matter of culture and culture depends on where you live, what language you speak, and what century it is. A given surge of light has the same frequence no matter who's viewing it, but the person perceiving the color will call it a word applicable to their culture.

  • Color demarcation is presumably the same for all people in all societies (all people with duly working eyeballs). Did the English see orange or violet before the French told them about it? Of course they did. They presumably called orange reád ( red) or geolo-reád ( unheroic-red) and violet hǽwen ( blue) or blæc-hǽwen ( dark blue) because those were the words they had available.

Historical Junks In Colors!!?

  • The painter's color wheel is a accessible way to understand how to mimic some colors by mixing red, unheroic, and blue colors. This doesn't make red, unheroic, and blue the primary colors of the mortal visual system. They don't satisfy the description of primary. They can not reproduce the widest variety of colors when combined. Cyan, magenta, and unheroic have a lesser polychromatic range as substantiated by their capability to produce a reasonable dark. No combination of red, unheroic, and blue colors will approach black as nearly as do cyan, magenta, and unheroic. The primary colors are red, green, and blue — not red, yellow and blue....

Dark Matter Vs Black Holes In Astrophysics!.....

#NEWS31.     By HariHaran.M

∆ Are Black Hole and Dark Matter are same...

∆ Dark Matter Mystery and Black Holes In Astrophysics...

Do You know The Dark matter?

In 19th century, astronomers began to assuming about the unseen material — either dimensional stars or gases and dusts, scattered throughout the macrocosm and they named it "The Dark matter", Yes, The Dark matter is a mysterious and non-luminous substance making up the vast maturity of matter in the macrocosm. Though experts have observed the gravitational goods of dark matter for last 10 years, and the scientists remain thwarted as to its true nature.

Is Dark Matter A Mystery and is it real...!!!?

  • Absolutely yes, Dark Matter is still a Riddle or Mysterious. Because still the Utmost ultramodern- day astronomers suppose dark matter likely consists of subatomic patches with parcels that are rather different from further familiar protons and neutrons. This means that experimenters are still scratching their heads over just what dark matter is. Some proponents have wondered if there's an entire dark sector of the macrocosm, with multiple patches and indeed dark forces that only affect dark matter, akin to the subatomic complexity seen in the visible macrocosm. At the same time, a nonage or some of scientists believe that dark matter is a mirage.

The Black Hole In Physics!!!!!

  • The Black Hole in Physics Is finally trending yes ,black hole is nothing but it is a place in space or universe.it looks like a big sphere. The Black Hole is a full of Mass,Electrical charges and Angular momentum..with a spin.It fully looks like A dark Black hole like evil. most scientists research about Black Hole and they proved its real..A Black Hole is actually is not a hole and it's has a super gravity force. Imagine a Black Hole is the size of New York City ,oh my goodness, yeah but it's true. There is some Black holes are so big and extremely large. The Black Hole gravity is so strong that not even light can escape...yup..true!

There is some of the types of Black Holes are Classified as follows:-

  1. Quantum Black Hole...
  2. Intermediate Black Hole...
  3. Supermassive Black Hole...
  4. Stellar Death Black Hole...

Is Dark Matter with Black Hole are same.. controversy continues.....??

  • Dark matter is a mysterious substance composing utmost of the material macrocosm, now extensively allowed to be some form of massive fantastic flyspeck. An interesting indispensable view is that dark matter is made of black holes formed during the first second of our macrocosm's actuality, known as early black holes. Scientists says there is a link between A Black Hole and Dark Matter..and some of them still researching about this..The Nature of Black Hole and Dark Matter remains one of the most important unresolved problem in Astrophysics...

Affecting the environment, the bacteria that destroys metal waste!!..

 #NEWS26

∆ Affecting the environment,Bacteria that destroys metal waste.

  • The study found that bacteria that destroy industrial waste, which pose a challenge to the environment, have been identified.

  •  All over the world, industrial road waste has become one of the biggest challenges to the environment.  Copper, also known as copper, is widely used in industry.  Chile is one of the leading countries in copper production.  Tami rum is mostly taken from the mines here.  More and more metal waste is being added and causing great damage to the environment.  To address this, Chilean microbiologist Nadak Reals studied metal-eating bacteria.  It has been declared a success

  •  Nadok Reals, 33, was studying microbes at the Antofa Custa Laboratory, 1,100 km north of Santiago.  He was conducting experiments at a mining plant using microorganisms to improve copper extraction.  Then he realized that the accumulation of waste was becoming a big problem.  And engaged in research with the aim of destroying them without harming the environment.

  •  In it he found bacteria that eat metal waste.  It took up to two months for the bacteria to eat a nail-sized piece of metal.  Following the progress of the study, Lam released the results of the study by successfully emptying a nail-sized metal in three days to successfully implement this new technology.

  •  Reals also said that chemical and microbiological tests have shown that the bacteria can harm humans or the environment, enabling the extraction of large quantities of copper or other minerals in a way that is safe for the environment.  He has also applied for a patent for this technology.
